CARSTAR North Toronto, owned by Alan Shek, has been recognized by Tesla for exceeding performance standards in Q1 2025 under the Tesla Approved Collision Center (TACC) program. 

 In acknowledgment of this achievement, the location is now officially designated as a Tesla Preferred Shop, proudly carrying this badge on both Tesla’s website and customer app. The recognition reflects CARSTAR North Toronto’s commitment to excellence in Tesla vehicle repairs, consistently meeting and surpassing the high-performance benchmarks established by Tesla. With over 30 years of industry experience, owner Alan Shek has worked to stay ahead of the ever-changing technological advancements. CARSTAR North Toronto is also distinguished as the only Tesla Approved Collision Center in Ontario and the only CARSTAR location in Canada to hold this prestigious designation. 

A testament

 The Tesla Approved Collision Center program provides repair facilities with the training, procedures, parts, and tools necessary to repair Tesla vehicles in a streamlined and cost-effective way. The program also requires facilities to meet strict certification standards, including completion of I-CAR’s Aluminum GMA (MIG) and Steel GMA Welding Training and Certification programs. Each TACC certified location must have at least two technicians certified in both welding areas, with recertification every three years.
