CARSTAR recently participated in three key career fairs across Ontario, connecting with students and showcasing the wide range of career opportunities available within the industry. These events provided students with the chance to engage with industry professionals and explore the many pathways that a career in collision repair can offer.
On March 4, CARSTAR was thrilled to be at Mohawk College for the Connect to Careers Job Fair, where they connected with the next generation of talent. The event saw a great turnout, with students eager to learn about careers at CARSTAR. Joining the CARSTAR team were Natasha Woods, Vice President of CARSTAR Saputo Capital Group, and Kenneth Chavez, Controller at CARSTAR Chavez Auto Group, both of whom serve the Hamilton and surrounding areas. Together, they discussed how students could explore hands-on trades as well as business operations, demonstrating the diverse and rewarding opportunities available within CARSTAR.

Engaging with students
On March 5, CARSTAR made a return visit to Fanshawe College, where they were joined by Jill and Mike, owners of CARSTAR London East and West, along with Allan Mattice from CARSTAR London Centre (Don Mor). It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with students, hear about their career aspirations, and discuss the exciting paths available within the industry. A big thank you to all the students who stopped by. CARSTAR is eager to see where your journeys take you!
Also on March 5, the team had an incredible time at the Centennial College Transportation Co-op and Grad Job Fair in Toronto. Over 150 co-op and graduating students from the Motive Power – Automotive, Autobody, and Parts & Service programs joined the event, eager to learn more about career opportunities in collision repair. Franchisee Joe Murillo, owner of CARSTAR Danforth (Tip Top), along with Paulo, shared valuable industry insights. It was inspiring to witness so many young minds excited to explore careers in the collision repair industry.

“We are proud to engage with the next generation of professionals and show them the exciting and diverse opportunities within the collision repair industry,” said Collin Welsh, Senior Director, CARSTAR Canada. “At CARSTAR, we are not just about fixing cars—we are about empowering individuals to grow, learn, and build successful careers. These fairs are a great way to meet passionate students and show them the innovative future of the industry.”
“CARSTAR has always been about offering growth opportunities, not only for our business but for the people who drive it,” said Mike, co-owner of CARSTAR London East and West. “The future of this industry lies in the hands of talented young individuals, and it’s inspiring to see so many eager students ready to take on these career paths. We’re excited to continue supporting and developing the next generation of professionals.”
Each of these events was a fantastic opportunity to engage with future leaders in the collision repair industry, and CARSTAR looks forward to continuing to foster relationships with talented students eager to join the field.
