On Friday, February 7, CARSTAR hosted a thrilling game day event at the Brantford Bulldogs game at the Brantford & District Civic Center. Thirty employees from the CARSTAR TORCAM Group, along with corporate staff, were in attendance, showing their support as the Bulldogs faced off against the Saginaw Spirit.
“At CARSTAR, we believe in the power of community, and it’s an honour for us to come together with our team, customers, and partners to support causes that truly make a difference,” said Sebastian Torres, Owner of CARSTAR TORCAM Group. “Events like this allow us to strengthen those bonds and give back in a meaningful way.”
On behalf of CARSTAR, a signed Auston Matthews Toronto Maple Leafs jersey and a Bulldogs jersey were auctioned off live to fundraise for the Bulldogs Foundation. Both jerseys raised a total of $1,800 for the charity. The Bulldog’s Foundation’s mission is to promote healthy, active, and empowered youth by providing funds to non-profit community groups and supporting educational and community programs.
As part of their commitment to the community, CARSTAR also hosted a Chuck a Puck fundraiser and raised $1,300 to support cystic fibrosis research and care.
“Our commitment to supporting local communities is at the heart of everything we do at CARSTAR,” said Collin Welsh, Ontario Zone Director, CARSTAR Canada. “It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of an event where we can make a positive impact while having fun and connecting with others who share our values.”
The event was filled with fun and collaboration, with many charitable initiatives taking place as this was the Bulldogs’ foundation game night.
