On December 22, Budds’ Collision Services hosted its annual Pig Roast. This special event is an opportunity for the Budds’ team, friends and family and collision industry professionals to get together and celebrate.

Additionally, since 2016, the event also serves as an opportunity to raise money for the Sam Piercey Foundation, which is designed to help young people establish successful careers in the collision repair industry.

The 2023 event was notable in that it represented the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Budds’ Group of Companies, as well as the 40th anniversary of the creation of Budds’ Collision Services. Started by Sam Piercey, Budds’ Collision grew to become one of the most prominent and forward-thinking collision centres in Canada. Sam sadly passed away in 2016, but his legacy lives on and under the leadership of J.R. Martino, who took over from Sam, the business has gone from strength to strength.

Autosphere feels privileged to be invited to the annual Budds’ Pig Roast which represents a major event on the collision industry calendar and a great opportunity for people to get together and celebrate everything that is good about the collision repair space, as well as family and friendships.
