CARSTAR introduced CARSTAR’s Drive to Donate this holiday season as inspiration from CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South’s annual donation to the Red Deer Food Bank and Red Deer Christmas Bureau.

“Our CARSTAR franchise family has always prioritized giving back to their local communities and this year was no different,” said Dave Foster, VP of Network Promotion and Development, CARSTAR Canada. “I am proud of our owners for recognizing the struggles many people in their communities are facing this year and thrilled with the way our network was able to step up and support.”

Across the country, ten facilities participated in collecting food items and/or donating funds for their local foodbanks in Thunder Bay, Red Deer, Edmonton and Newmarket, equating to over $11,000 raised.

“We know this time of year can be challenging for some and our team is passionate about helping those in need,” said Romena Deokinandan, co-owner of CARSTAR Newmarket. “It was incredible to see the dedication from each of our employees in this initiative and we look forward to continuing to help our neighbourhood for years to come.”
