CARSTAR Brantford West, one of three locations that make up the CARSTAR Torcam group, recently dedicated its time and resources to restoring a 1930 Ford Model A.
The CARSTAR Brantford West team graciously jumped at the opportunity to restore the vehicle as the team is committed to giving back to their community in any way possible. Upon completion of the vehicle, the owner of the car decided he wanted to donate it to the Brantford Police Museum to honour their support of the community.
“Caring for the communities we work in and live in has always been a tenet of CARSTAR and I am proud that my team has truly embodied this,” said Sebastian Torres, Co-Owner, CARSTAR Torcam Group. “It brings my team and me such joy when we get the opportunity to work on a fun project such as this, but it makes it even better that we can connect with those in our community.”
This past Saturday, June 17, the vehicle was presented to the Brantford Police Museum during an event where all proceeds were donated to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign, a Stephen Lewis Foundation effort to support grandmothers caring for their grandchildren in Africa.
