Axalta Coating Systems announced a partnership with SATA, a manufacturer of wet paint technologies, to provide Axalta and its’ Refinish customers access to Ontario SATA’s location.
The facility serves as a replacement for Axalta’s Training Center in Ajax, Ontario which is now closed.

Courses offered for Axalta Refinish customers allow paint technicians to develop the skills they need to be more efficient and productive through a proven mix of in-class instruction and in-booth coatings application. Course topics include tri-coat colour application, matte finishing, micro repair and more, all while using the same Axalta Paint Techs use in their home shop.
Axalta Refinish Customers who take courses at SATA Canada will enjoy learning in state-of-art facilities, including:
- 2 spray booths
- 1 large classroom
- 1 Lunchroom
- Fully equipped work area
Axalta Refinish customers who wish to take hands-on training can register for courses through the Axalta Academy training portal located at Axalta.ca. Classes at the Ontario location are available two weeks per month.
