Dorien Lozeau from CSN Black Ace in St. Paul, Alberta won the National Skills Canada Competition in Auto Refinishing recently in Vancouver, B.C., May 25-28, 2022.

With this win, Dorien will be representing Canada at the World Skills Championship October 12-17, 2022 in Shanghai China!

This is an incredible achievement and AkzoNobel wants to take time to recognize and congratulate him with this win! Dorien was also the recipient of the first ever AkzoNobel Dave Smith Achievement Award in late 2021. In observance of the second anniversary of Dave’s passing, AkzoNobel awarded the prize during the 2021 Skills Canada National Competition.

Lozeau’s success was bolstered by his gold medal showing in the car painting competitions, in addition to the $2,500 prize from AkzoNobel.
