CARSTAR announces the opening of CARSTAR Thornhill, located at 82 Green Lane, in Thornhill (Ontario).

Alan Shek, owner of CARSTAR Thornhill, has always had an affinity for the automotive industry, starting from an early age with a keen interest in mobile electronics and import performance car modifications. Alan then used this experience to fuel his many successful auto racing endeavors.

After various wins across North America, Alan turned his focus to running his shop, where he excelled in working with advanced automotive technologies.

“There are new vehicle technologies introduced every day and through the course of my career, it is always exciting to see the latest innovation for the automobile,” says Alan Shek, owner, CARSTAR Thornhill. “Joining CARSTAR helps ensure we stay ahead of these continued changes because it’s a trusted team that is dedicated to helping its owners, giving us additional resources so we can continue to thrive.”

CARSTAR Thornhill is a premier collision repair centre with I-CAR Gold and ASE accreditations. Body shop manager, Tommy Siu, as well as production, Jamie Smith, have both been in the industry for over 20 years and are I-CAR certified as well.

“Our CARSTAR network is filled with experts who have been in the industry for years and commit to continuous training to ensure excellence in their repair quality,” says Andrew Northrup, zone director, CARSTAR. “We are thrilled to welcome the team at Thornhill to our growing CARSTAR family, as their values are rooted in providing state-of-the-art repairs along with exceptional customer experiences.”

Shek’s focus on the customer experience and staying up to date with the latest tools have helped contribute to this repair centre’s almost 30-year legacy. The team is excited about this new chapter and is grateful for Thornhill’s continued support in their locally owned business.
