For the first time in more than fifteen years, apprentice and working painters will have the ability to achieve a 410N painter certification (Red Seal equivalent).

SATA Canada announces sign-up for its first Automotive Painter (410N) apprenticeship course.

The inaugural class will be starting December 6, 2021 at SATA Canada’s training centre in Vaughan, ON.

The Ontario college program will run 8-week / 5 day a week session; open to new students and those already in the industry wishing to upgrade their skills to become a tradesperson meeting the national standard in their trade.

Space is limited so please make sure you sign up before November 19, 2021.

SATA Canada is dedicated to addressing the skilled labour shortage in the re-finish industry.

It is our privilege to train the next generation of painters for a safe and dynamic career in an in-demand trade.

Well-known collision and paint industry expert Rob Hill will serve as head instructor for the SATA Automotive Painter program.

Mr. Hill has had a long career in the industry and has been training manager for ICI and PPG for 26 years.

The state-of-the-art, 2,500 sq. ft. training centre contains a commercial dual-bay spray booth, prep areas and classroom that can accommodate up to forty people.

A full range of industry-leading SATA spray guns, filters, paint suits and CSA-NIOSH-approved respiration will be also available to students.

SATA received accreditation as a training delivery agent by the Ontario College of Trades last year, however, the pandemic delayed person learning. SATA Canada is now able to offer students certification as an Automotive Refinishing Technician.
