I-CAR Canada has announced the launch of the new French-language Professional Development Program (PDP) in Fall 2021.

The PDP includes an all-new course format based on 30 and 60 minute online courses, with this launch francophone technicians and shops will have access to the latest in vehicle repair training.

The course translation project has taken almost three years and a $1 million investment by the Quebec Government, CSMO Auto, AIA Canada and I-CAR.

As always, the standards for collision repair are evolving, the PDP brings with it new requirements for achieving Gold Class shop recognition and Platinum individual recognition.

Shops required to meet the new standards will have 12 to 24 months to adapt. All can be assured that any existing I-CAR training will receive full credit in the new PDP.
