PPG has named Colours as its 2019 Platinum Distributor of the Year.
Every year the paint manufacturer recognizes a distributor that has showcased excellent performance, product knowledge and customer service and support in the automotive refinish segment.
John Parran, PPG Director, Platinum Distributor program, U.S. and Canada, honoured the winner of 2019, Colours, at the PPG Platinum Distributor Conference. Held on a yearly basis, PPG’s platinum distributors from all across Canada and the U.S. come together during the conference. PPG states in a release the Platinum Distributor program celebrated its 25th anniversary at the conference this year.
“The Platinum Distributor of the Year award recognizes the overall success of the Platinum Distributor program in our automotive refinish business and, in particular, one special distributor,” said Parran. “Our platinum distributors work hard throughout the year, and we applaud their efforts and achievements. In 2019, Colours demonstrated all the qualities that exemplify the spirit of the PPG Platinum Distributor program.”
The award was accepted by Tim Evans, President, Colours, accompanied on stage by his daughter Ali Mahalak, chief financial officer; Bill Snipas, Vice President of Operations; and Brian Marcks, Vice President of Sales.
In 2019, PPG’s automotive refinish business presented the 2018 Platinum Distributor of the Year award to CHC Paint & Body Shop Supplies of Toronto, Canada.
