The company suggests using the correct container depending on the size of the scrape. For very small scrapes like rock chips or areas smaller than a pencil eraser, a paint pen is most suitable. For dime-sized areas, bottles with a built-in brush can be used. For scrapes covering up to six square feet, 12-ounce aerosol spray cans are ideal. The user can identify the colour code of their vehicle by typing in the vehicle’s year, make and model on the company’s website. Based on this paint code, AutomotiveTouchup customizes the formulation for each of its orders using its library of colours.
