The Boyd Group announced that it has completed the acquisition of a repair facility in Kingston, Ontario on December 17, 2019.
The repair centre had been operating under the name Limestone Auto Body before the acquisition. As explained in a release by the company, Kingston is nicknamed as the “Limestone City” due to the several heritage structures it has that have been built using local limestone.
“We are very excited to add this location, which has served the Kingston market well for many years. We look forward to becoming part of the community and the opportunity to provide the friendly service and quality repairs that Assured is known for,” said Tony Canade, President of Assured Automotive and Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Operations, for the Boyd Group. “This strengthened presence enables us to better serve our customers and insurance partners. We are pleased to broaden our reach in the province, and we look forward to increasing our footprint in the surrounding markets.”
The Boyd Group also notes in its release that the network is always on the lookout for adding new collision repair centres both in Canada and the U.S. Owners of facilities that wish to join the network can do so by getting in touch with Stephen Boyd for further information of the process.
