Equipment supplier BETAG demonstrated its innovative approach to paintless dent removal at the 2019 SEMA Las Vegas trade show.

Induction technology is used to perform repairs. The hand-held device heats the panel surface without causing damage to the paint surface. The electromagnetic wave raises the temperature of the metal, causing the dent to dilate and disappear.

A second, more sophisticated version of this device has been developed to perform the same type of intervention on aluminum body panels.

Both technologies were on display at the BETAG booth.
