Paint and body equipment distributor, AB Warehouse launched its celebration accompanied by nearly 300 guests, who gathered on the pier of Montreal’s Old Port for the festive occasion.
The grand event, held on the shores of the Saint-Lawrence River, will be fondly remembered by AB Warehouse suppliers, customers, employees, partners, family members and friends, who partook in the celebrations marking four decades of progress.
Not only did the Quebec-based distributor recap its storied history, but participants were also briefed regarding the company’s plans to expand across Canada.
After his opening comments, company President Patrick Bertrand, who proudly hosted the event, unveiled the new company logo which will be used to tie in the various AB Warehouse divisions under a single image.
Ever forward
“While our first forty years allowed us to build a great company, I can assure you that our expansion will accelerate significantly over the next few years,” announced Bertrand. “As we move forward, we continue to consolidate the present while preparing the future, always a step ahead of the competition and focused on the needs of our customers.”
We also learned that two new AB Express locations will soon be launched in Ontario and a new location will also be added in Quebec. The company’s objective is to create a network of fifty AB Express stores across Canada.
An evening to remember
The evening’s proceedings featured music, dancing, acrobatic displays, as well as a few amazing surprises, including both a floating wine bar and picture booth manned by…aerial acrobats!
Renowned artist Lisabel produced a painting during the event representing the outline of an Oldsmobile 442, the first-ever sports car owned by AB Warehouse founder, André Bertrand. The painting was offered by the event’s platinum sponsors, Sherwin Williams and Valspar.
The members of the musical group KANÄM Expérience, presented by Carborundum and Norton Abrasive, could have easily filled the dance floor themselves as musicians, singers and dancers brought back the 80’s in spectacular fashion.
Gold sponsors Or 3M et BASF also contributed significantly to the evening’s festivities.
