Polyvance recently unveiled its new 6148 Bumper Rollers Kit.

This new kit is designed to make it easier for collision repair technicians to actually push dents out of modern composite bumper covers instead of throwing them away.

The Bumper Rollers kit features three heavy-duty rollers—one wide and flat, one ball-shaped for rounded corners, and one with a sharp edge for restoring body lines.

After heating the surface of the bumper to soften the plastic, a technician can then push the surface with the different rollers to shrink the distortion, push out the dents and restore the vehicle’s original bodylines.

Polyvance says that in many cases, a technician should be able to pull out the dent without requiring filler.

Besides removing bumper cover dents, the Bumper Rollers Kit can also be used on sheetmetal for removing dents and also used to press in sound deadening pads on vehicle floorpans.

The new Bumper Rollers Kit received a Global Media Award for innovation at last month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
