PPG has announced its fourth quarter collision refinish training schedule in the U.S. and Canada.

The fourth quarter training schedule features classes that encompass a wide range of subjects, designed to help refinish technicians stay current with the latest technology and processes.

These courses, which are held at regional training centres across both Canada and the U.S., last one to two days and feature a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practical training in the spray booth. Additionally, the courses also focus on a range of PPG branded refinish products, with certification and recertification programs available for the following:

ENVIROBASE High Performance, AQUABASE PLUS, DELTRON and GLOBAL REFINISHING SYSTEM

Each training course focuses on a range of different topics, from product, equipment and tool selection, through surface preparation and paint application. Additionally, colour tinting classes are also available for each of the PPG refinish branded products.

In some locations, classes are also conducted in French and Spanish as well as English. PPG refinish technicians must be re-certified every two years in order to stay current with the latest industry technology and techniques.
