Toyota Canada Reports Fifth-Straight Month of Increased EV Sales

Toyota Canada reported its fifth consecutive month of record electrified vehicle sales, up 23.9% with 3,452 units sold in November.

For the month, hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell electric vehicle sales accounted for 21.7% of TCI’s total sales, led by the Toyota Highlander Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, and Lexus UX Hybrid.

With three fewer selling days compared to last November, Toyota reported overall sales of 15,878 vehicles during the month, down 16.8% compared to the same period last year.

Additional November Highlights

• Toyota Highlander sales of 1,403 units, up 6.6% (new November record)
• Toyota Tacoma sales of 1,193 units, up 4.7%
• Lexus UX sales of 166 units, up 8.5% (new November record)
