Snap-on Introduces New Floor Jack Sets

Snap-on recently announced the release of its new 1.75-Ton Aluminum High-Performance Floor Jack (FJ175) sets.

The floor jack is not only designed for easy maneuvering but is also strong and durable. The company explains in a statement that the floor jack demonstrates a higher lift capacity when compared with similar aluminum jacks available in the market.

The FJ175 is capable of lifting up to 1587 kg (3,500 lbs). It can be fit under most vehicles easily due to its low height of 3.4”. Its maximum lifting height is 18”. Snap-on has designed the floor jack with a one-piece handle that has a higher compound ratio. This allows the jack to lift to a greater height with every stroke of the handle pump. The product also features a diamond knurling to provide a better handle grip.

Users can easily navigate the FJ175 through narrow and tight workspaces due to its single front roller. The rear caster assemblies of the floor jack contain roller thrust bearings, equipping technicians with the ability to handle heavier loads. Additionally, the FJ175 sports a lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum design.

As explained by the company, the floor jack can be operated in extreme temperatures. This is possible due to the hydraulic pump assembly containing premium seals and special, high-performance oil. These features, along with the grease fittings in the yoke and lift arm pivots, also contribute to longer wear life.

Snap-on is offering a three-year warranty on manufacturing defects. The FJ175 complies with all current safety standards ASME/PASE 2014.
