Sensata Appoints Aftermarket Chief to Strengthen Supply

Sensata’s executive appointment targets improved wholesale availability of TPMS sensors and commercial collision-mitigation hardware for Canadian tyre centres and heavy-duty fleets.

Sensata Technologies has appointed Enrico Manuele as Vice-President and General Manager of its global aftermarket division, overseeing flagship product lines Schrader TPMS and PRECO Radar. Bringing more than 30 years of global automotive experience, Manuele previously held executive sales and aftermarket leadership roles across Europe and North America at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket.

For Canadian tyre dealers, independent automotive jobbers, and commercial fleet maintenance directors, Sensata’s core aftermarket portfolio directly impacts bay productivity and vehicle turnaround times. Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor replacement represents a critical seasonal profit centre during bi-annual tyre changeover cycles, while heavy-vehicle radar systems are increasingly required to satisfy commercial safety mandates and prevent costly collision downtime.

According to Sensata executive management, the strategic appointment is intended to expand customer partnerships, streamline channel execution, and broaden product coverage across global repair networks. Automotive service operations and parts distributors will look for tighter inventory replenishment cycles and reduced backorders across electronic sensor SKUs to support modern vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
