Accelerating HVAC Bay Turns: Four Seasons Adds Direct-Fit Condensers

Standard Motor Products’ new Four Seasons A/C condenser line streamlines climate repair procurement for Canadian automotive jobbers through single-source thermal system sourcing.

Standard Motor Products (SMP) has expanded its Temperature Control Division offering with the introduction of an OE-engineered line of Four Seasons air conditioning condensers. Developed to match factory dimensional fitments and thermal dissipation benchmarks, the programme provides extensive domestic and import application coverage across the North American aftermarket.

For Canadian automotive parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, and mechanical repair shop operators, sourcing fragmented HVAC components across separate vendors complicates inventory tracking and delays repair order completion. Each direct-fit condenser unit includes all necessary replacement seals to eliminate refrigerant leaks and costly warranty comebacks. Furthermore, the units feature protective packaging engineered to prevent heat-exchanger fin and connection damage during commercial freight transit and warehouse storage.

According to Jack Ramsey, senior vice president of sales and marketing at SMP, the line addition establishes a single-source supply chain for complete thermal system overhauls, complementing Four Seasons’ new and remanufactured compressors, evaporators, accumulators, receiver driers, expansion valves, and hose assemblies. Consolidating full-system parts ordering reduces SKU administration costs for Canadian distribution channels while improving shop-floor turnaround times on peak seasonal climate repairs.
