GSP North America has launched its GSP ADVANTEDGE Brake Caliper line, offering 100% brand-new units with no core charges or physical returns.
GSP North America’s new ADVANTEDGE brake caliper line eliminates core deposits and return logistics to streamline inventory management for automotive parts distributors.
Undercar component manufacturer GSP North America has introduced its GSP ADVANTEDGE Brake Caliper programme, featuring 100% brand-new replacement calipers with no core charges or physical core returns required. Unveiled ahead of the AAPEX trade show, the core-free line aims to eliminate handling expenses, warehouse storage congestion, and reverse-logistics administrative overhead across aftermarket supply chains.
For Canadian auto parts jobbers, commercial warehouse distributors, and mechanical repair facilities, removing core reconciliation simplifies counter transactions and protects shop cash flow. According to company officials, manufacturing entirely new units enables prompt first-to-market fitment coverage on late-model vehicles without waiting to establish a core bank of rebuildable units. The initial catalogue offering addresses more than 80% of market demand, expanding to 95% within the first year.
Every caliper includes OE-specified ductile iron or aluminium castings, application-matched steel or phenolic pistons, EPDM rubber seals, and complete installation hardware such as banjo bolts and abutment clips. Built through GSP’s 51% owned GLP joint venture, every unit undergoes 100% end-of-line pressure and leak testing to minimise bay comebacks and maintain repair throughput.
