Hyundai Canada Grants $200,000 for Eastern Ontario Research

Funding health research infrastructure through new vehicle sales, Hyundai Canada and its dealer network deliver grants to CHEO and Kingston health foundations. 

Hyundai Hope on Wheels made stops in Eastern Ontario to present two $100,000 grants to the CHEO Foundation in Ottawa and the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation. The funding rounds form part of a broader $4.1 million nationwide commitment by the non-profit organization in 2026 to support pediatric oncology centers, clinical trials, and family care initiatives across 16 Canadian health institutions. 

For dealership principals, corporate social responsibility executives, and brand strategists, the national initiative demonstrates a structured retail-linked charitable model that drives localized community engagement.

According to Hyundai Canada executive leadership, the charitable foundation relies on direct contributions from the brand’s 225 Canadian dealerships tied to every new vehicle transaction to advance clinical trials and specialized pediatric care programs.
