Lexus Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian Crafts Federation (CCFA), has named the recipients of the 2026 Lexus x Craft Innovation Awards. Manitoba Métis beadwork artist Jennine Krauchi was awarded the Artisan of the Year Award, while Mi’kmaq wood sculptor Gordon Sparks of New Brunswick received the Emerging Artisan Award.

For automotive marketing directors, luxury brand managers, and corporate sponsorship executives, the initiative demonstrates strategic brand alignment between Lexus’s core Takumi craftsmanship philosophy and Canadian cultural heritage programs.

According to Lexus Canada executive management, supporting national craft organizations reinforces the automaker’s premium brand narrative while driving community engagement across regional markets.
