The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued safety recalls covering commercial and light-duty fleet models from Daimler Truck North America, Ford, Terex, and Toyota. The reported defects include unsecured fuel tanks, corroded brake modulator valves, improper rear axle bearings, and incorrect load-capacity labeling.

For fleet managers, service directors, and commercial repair facilities, tracking these notices is critical to ensuring driver safety, regulatory compliance, and vehicle uptime.

Ford accounts for the largest campaign, recalling 223,472 F-150 trucks (2023-2027) over potential fuel tank strap detachment. Additionally, Daimler Truck North America is recalling 2,404 Freightliner and Western Star units for brake valve corrosion, while Toyota is replacing incorrect load capacity labels across 135 trucks and SUVs.
