Mercedes-Benz Canada has opened its 140 Years of Innovation experience at the Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto, hosted inside Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street flagship location. The activation marks the Canadian debut of the 2027 S-Class Sedan while anchoring the OEM’s global 140th-anniversary campaign with historical displays, including a Benz Patent-Motorwagen replica and virtual reality modules.
For automotive retail executives, brand strategists, and dealership network operators, the activation demonstrates non-traditional showroom integration designed to capture luxury consumer foot traffic outside standard dealership channels.
“For 140 years, Mercedes-Benz has shaped the future of mobility through a relentless commitment to innovation, design, and craftsmanship,” said Alex Matthews, Vice President, Digital, PR and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Canada. “This latest evolution of Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto offers guests a new way to explore that legacy, from the world’s first automobile to the new S-Class.”
The installation incorporates a retail partnership with Italian apparel brand Paul & Shark during its 50th anniversary, featuring co-branded merchandise. Visitors can interact with a dedicated MANUFAKTUR Atelier highlighting bespoke leather and paint customizations utilizing an on-site G-Class, alongside live personalization stations and hospitality offerings.
“Our second iteration of the Studio brings together a luxury heritage Italian brand alongside quintessential automotive heritage, both focused on legacy, craftsmanship and innovation,” added Jerry Wu, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Holt Renfrew.
The temporary brand environment operates through September and October at 50 Bloor Street West in Toronto.
