Bosch Diagnostics has launched the ADS 10X Plus, a next-generation diagnostic scan tool designed to accelerate troubleshooting for automotive service technicians. Built on a redesigned platform, the tool delivers full-system Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) reports in three clicks and under 40 seconds, representing a speed increase of up to 24 times over legacy systems.
For repair shop owners, service managers, and master technicians, the scanner provides OEM-licensed diagnostic data covering over 98 percent of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles on North American roads. The software incorporates direct access to the Bosch Wiring Diagram Database, containing over 700,000 standardized schematics.
Hardware features include an 11-inch 2.5K touch display paired with a wireless J2534-compliant GVCI supporting CAN FD and DoIP protocols alongside secure gateway access. James Latham, Product Marketing Manager at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket, noted that the unit was developed from the ground up to support evolving ADAS calibrations and future remote diagnostic requirements.
The platform receives monthly software updates to expand special test functions, coverage, and guided repair workflows across modern vehicle architectures.
