SKF has announced its official sponsorship and technical partnership with championship-winning off-road driver and Dakar Rally class winner Casey Currie.

As part of the technical alignment, SKF supplied engineered bearing and sealing solutions for Currie’s custom-built Jeep race vehicle. The partnership provides SKF with a real-world testing environment across high-speed desert endurance racing and rock-crawling events to evaluate component performance under extreme mechanical loads and debris exposure.

“Our partnership with Casey Currie isn’t just about showing up in a new racing segment, it’s about proving what SKF is built for, said DJ Kimsey, President of SKF North America. From the track to the trail, we’re demonstrating that SKF technology thrives under pressure.”

“In off-road racing, every component matters, said Currie. You need parts that can perform under extreme loads, harsh conditions, and constant punishment. SKF’s products give us the confidence to push harder.”

For Canadian auto parts distributors, jobbers, and commercial repair facilities, the high-stress testing initiative supports product engineering for SKF’s premium aftermarket and OE-level chassis and wheel-end replacement lines available across North America.
