CAA-Québec Highlights Mazda’s Industry-Leading Unlimited Mileage Coverage

The annual independent assessment published by CAA-Québec evaluates manufacturer warranty structures to help buyers and commercial operators evaluate long-term cost of ownership (TCO).
Following the release of CAA-Québec’s 2026 New Vehicle Warranty Study, Mazda Canada’s warranty offering has once again been recognized as an industry benchmark. More than a decade after its initial Canadian rollout, Mazda remains the only automotive brand in the country to offer a comprehensive, unlimited-mileage warranty policy across its entire new-vehicle lineup.
The annual independent assessment published by CAA-Québec evaluates manufacturer warranty structures to help buyers and commercial operators evaluate long-term cost of ownership (TCO). The study highlighted Mazda’s unlimited distance parameters across multiple coverage tiers, including:
-
New Vehicle Limited Warranty: 3 years / Unlimited km;
-
Powertrain Limited Warranty: 5 years / Unlimited km;
-
Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) Systems: 5 years / Unlimited km;
-
Roadside Assistance: 3 years / Unlimited km;
-
Anti-Perforation / Corrosion: 7 years / Unlimited km.
Strategic TCO Benefits for Retail Dealerships and Commercial Fleets
From a commercial fleet management and retail sales perspective, the absence of mileage caps eliminates unexpected repair liability for high-mileage drivers, such as field sales agents, regional service technicians, and highway commuters.
“Through its unlimited mileage program, Mazda continues to stand out, and CAA-Québec can only applaud this distinction, which is significant for vehicle owners,” stated Maxime Dubois, Mobility Expertise Lead at CAA-Québec.
Amy Fleming, President and CEO of Mazda Canada, added that the policy reflects internal quality metrics and engineering confidence in the long-term durability of the brand’s ICE, hybrid, and electric drivelines.
