Subaru Canada June Sales Surge 17.6% on Record Crosstrek Demand

The monthly growth moves Subaru’s year-to-date (YTD) cumulative volume to 34,758 deliveries.
Leveraging strong summer seasonal traction and a stabilized product mix, Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) reported a sharp volume increase for June 2026. The manufacturer converted 6,485 retail units across its dealer body, marking a definitive 17.6% expansion compared to June 2025 performance parameters.
The monthly growth moves Subaru’s year-to-date (YTD) cumulative volume to 34,758 deliveries. While the overall annual metric trails the historic pace of 2025 by 12.0%, localized pipeline flow solidifies Q2 performance targets, with the brand turning 19,067 total units across April, May, and June.
For Canadian dealer principals and inventory managers tracking segment turn rates, the data confirms that compact all-wheel-drive crossovers remain the primary drivers of showroom traffic. The Subaru Crosstrek anchored the brand’s momentum by securing 3,041 deliveries—its highest-volume June performance on record. Concurrently, the redesigned Forester compact SUV capitalized on its IIHS Top Safety Pick standing to capture its own best-ever June sales mark, turning 1,823 units.
“This is a perfect start to the summer driving months,” stated Yoichi Hori, Chairman, President, and CEO of SCI. “We are honored that so many people have chosen our vehicles to carry them confidently on their adventures.”
With steady factory order fulfillments reinforcing lot allocations across its 96 authorized Canadian retail locations, the manufacturer remains well-positioned to maintain active market share stakes heading into the fall.
