CARSTAR Cambridge Secures OEC Collision Performance Network Credentials

Nationwide collision repair network CARSTAR Canada has confirmed that CARSTAR Cambridge has secured official certification from the Collision Performance Network, a specialized data and infrastructure division of OEC.

The manufacturing credential verifies that the facility retains the exact frame-bench systems, diagnostic equipment, and technician training pathways mandatory to execute structural repairs according to original factory blueprints.

By satisfying these benchmarking requirements, the Cambridge facility consolidates an extensive portfolio of automaker endorsements. The site is now recognized as an approved Certified Collision Care Provider for Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, Honda & Acura ProFirst, Fiat Chrysler (Mopar), Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, and Subaru.

“The technical complexities of today’s vehicles make it more critical than ever to choose a body shop wisely,” stated Stuart Cossar, owner and general manager of CARSTAR Cambridge. The strict verification protocol evaluates a shop’s capacity to properly manage high-strength steels, lightweight aluminum components, and advanced electronic safety modules. “CARSTAR Cambridge is officially a Certified Collision Care Provider,” added Leanne Jefferies, Director of Strategic Accounts & Customer Support for the OEC Certified Repair Network.

Within the Canadian collision industry, this multi-OEM alignment provides local insurance partners and vehicle owners with validated traceability, ensuring total safety compliance on late-model vehicle platforms.
