Stellantis Holds Production Celebration for Refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica at Windsor Assembly Plant

The milestone was commemorated with an employee celebration on the plant floor, featuring remarks from Stellantis and Unifor senior leaders.
Stellantis today held a production celebration for the refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica at the Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP), marking the next chapter in the company’s long-standing minivan leadership. The milestone was commemorated with an employee celebration on the plant floor, featuring remarks from Stellantis and Unifor senior leaders.
Chrysler invented the minivan 43 years ago when the first “magic wagon” rolled off the line at WAP. Today, the Chrysler Pacifica remains the best-selling and most awarded minivan in Canada and the United States and continues to stand apart as the only vehicle in the segment to offer standard Stow ’n Go seating and storage in both the second and third rows.
“The start of production of the refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is a proud moment for our Windsor Assembly team and a testament to their world-class manufacturing expertise,” said Trevor Longley, president and CEO, Stellantis Canada. “For more than four decades, Windsor has been at the heart of minivan innovation. This latest evolution builds on that legacy with enhanced design, advanced technology and even stronger value for Canadian families.”

“The refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica reflects our commitment to delivering innovation, capability and value to our customers,” said Matt McAlear, CEO, Chrysler and Dodge brands. “With its bold new design, segment-exclusive features like Stow ’n Go and class-leading all-wheel-drive capability, Pacifica continues to set the standard for what families expect from a modern minivan.”
“Unifor members are proud to build the world-class Chrysler Pacifica, and Windsor Assembly is synonymous with building minivans,” said Unifor National President Lana Payne. “Stellantis’ decision, amid global economic uncertainty, is a testament to the work of our members and the importance of building in Canada. As the Windsor Assembly Plant enters this new era of production, governments must act to resolve ongoing tariff challenges and protect Canadian auto jobs.”
The significantly refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica further evolves the modern minivan with a distinctive new exterior design, upgraded interior finishes, expanded technology offerings and additional available safety features, all designed to provide greater comfort, flexibility and confidence for customers.
Chrysler has also strengthened the Pacifica’s value proposition in Canada, with price reductions of up to $7,200 on select 2027 Pacifica Limited and Pinnacle models. The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica Select AWD is now the lowest-priced, seven passenger, AWD minivan in Canada at $57,995 MSRP, while the well-equipped, Canadian-exclusive Chrysler Grand Caravan continues to offer exceptional value with an MSRP under $50,000.
The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Grand Caravan are scheduled to arrive in dealerships this summer.
