On August 26, during a deeply emotional ceremony, Annie Laliberté, General Manager and Partner of Beauport Hyundai and Genesis de Québec, received the plaque for the prestigious CADA Laureate Award 2025 in the Retail Operations category for Beauport Hyundai.

Nearly 80 guests gathered to celebrate this historic moment, making her the first woman in Québec to receive this distinction, considered the highest honour a dealer can achieve in their career.

Among the attendees were:

– Tim Reuss, President and CEO of the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA)

– Sébastien Alajarin, Regional Vice President for Québec at iA Dealer Services

– Ian P. Sam Yue Chi, President and CEO of the Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles du Québec (CCAQ)

Business partners, the Beauport Hyundai team, clients, media, friends, and family completed the distinguished gathering.

A Recognition That Celebrates Excellence

In his speech, Mr. Reuss highlighted the exceptional performance under Annie Laliberté’s leadership, which stood out among more than 3,200 dealers across Canada thanks to her outstanding management and the values she instills in her team year after year.

“She fosters a culture based on honesty, integrity, and fairness, which underpins Beauport Hyundai’s reputation. The dealership’s success rests on two core values: personal honesty and individual responsibility,” he said.

Her involvement in various organizations, including the Scotiabank Women in Auto Accelerator mentorship program, and her participation in all manufacturers advisory boards also strengthened her candidacy.

Results That Speak for Themselves

This recognition is backed by remarkable achievements. In 2024, Beauport Hyundai reached Platinum level in Hyundai Auto Canada’s Signature Certification Program and won the President’s Award for Excellence.

Most notably, Beauport Hyundai won the DOTY (Dealer of the Year) Award 2024, ranking among the top 100 Hyundai dealers worldwide.

Mr. Reuss emphasized the lasting nature of the award:

“The plaque Annie Laliberté received reads ‘Awarded in 2025.’ But I want to stress that she will always be considered a CADA Laureate, as this is a lifetime award.”

A Speech Filled with Authenticity

Annie Laliberté also addressed the guests with a heartfelt speech full of emotion, joy, and gratitude. She thanked everyone who contributed to this success, viewing it as a team achievement and a collective effort, both personally and professionally.

“This award I’ve always dreamed of has come true. My joy is immeasurable—I feel a state of complete and boundless happiness, immense gratitude!” she shared emotionally

An Inspiration for the Future

This ceremony marks a major milestone in Annie Laliberté’s successful career. She hopes this award will inspire others who want to make a difference in the industry. As the first woman in Québec to receive this distinction, she paves the way and proves that excellence knows no gender in the automotive sector.

The event, organized by La Firme, took place in Beauport Hyundai’s showroom with champagne, wine, and hors d’oeuvres, creating a festive atmosphere worthy of this historic recognition.
