The growing involvement of the next generation in the Association des Spécialistes de Pneu et Mécanique du Québec (ASPMQ) is driving a wave of tangible achievements.
Guillaume Martin has entered the second year of his term as president of the ASPMQ. First elected in June 2024, Martin received renewed support from members, a clear sign of the trust they place in his leadership and direction.
As the owner of OK Pneus Pointe-aux-Trembles and OK Pneus Sainte-Agathe, and a member of the ASPMQ board of directors since 2021, he brings both hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the industry’s current challenges. His continued involvement, combined with a strategic long-term vision, has brought the kind of stability needed to advance the association’s ongoing projects.
“As president, it’s a privilege to carry out the ASPMQ’s mission—to protect, support, and develop all aspects of our industry,” Martin stated in 2024 when he first took office. That guiding principle remains fully aligned with his current leadership approach.
Several important initiatives have taken shape during this time, including:
- The launch of an online store featuring practical tools designed specifically for members
- More than 60 sector-focused meetings and a broad offering of informative webinars
- The successful staging of the ASPMQ Summer Rendezvous, a full day dedicated to training and networking opportunities
More recently, Martin has been working on the upcoming launch of the ASPMQ’s official podcast. This new information platform reflects the association’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and aims to enhance access to industry knowledge while providing even greater support to members in their day-to-day work.
Under his leadership, the ASPMQ is heading into 2025–2026 with a renewed sense of confidence—focused on member support, stronger professional ties, and helping the industry navigate its ongoing transformation.
