CARSTAR Ottawa Earns GM Certification

CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) has earned its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) certification from GM Canada.

The team at CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) is trained in GM’s latest repair methods and understands how to use original GM parts.

“Undergoing the proper training and adhering to all manufacturer guidelines are crucial for all collision repairs, and our team has always been committed to this,” says Shawn Jamieson, vice president of CARSTAR collision centres, Myers Automotive Group.

Unlike other certified networks, the GM Collision Repair Network is a program that uses ongoing evaluation of the necessary training, equipment and repair procedures used to repair today’s increasingly complex GM vehicles.

CARSTAR Ottawa South Centre (Myers) is working towards its I-CAR Gold certification. The facility is also certified in other OEM brands including FCA, Nissan, and Kia.
