MAXAM recently announced that it has expended its L5 extra deep tire program by adding the new MS503 L5T pattern tire.

According to the company, MAXAM’s new MS503 radial OTR program was created to offer a suitable solution to the industry for severe applications that require high traction.

Developed as the most durable tire possible by the company, the tire’s design intends to provide maximum service life in harsh conditions and also features a reinforced shoulder, sidewall and bead construction. To provide better protection against physical damage and enhance the tire life, the tire contains an ultra-cut resistant tread compound, as well as an all steel radial construction. For lasting performance and optimum control in adverse conditions, the MS503 is equipped with an extra-deep, non-directional L5T traction pattern.

To aid the tire in its self-cleaning properties for the purpose of retaining traction in all conditions, MAXAM has added an open lug pattern on the tire with variable void geometry. Additionally, according to the company, the tire’s staggered tread enables it to maintain constant ground contact without compromising on ride comfort for the vehicle operators.

MAXAM is currently offering the tire in the following six sizes: 17.5R25, 20.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.5R25, 29.5R25 and 35/65R33.
