Bridgestone Americas has announced the expansion of its Firestone VersaBuilt All Traction (AT) radial tire line.
The newly added Firestone VersaBuilt AT 14.00R24 tire has been developed primarily for loaders and graders. Besides improved traction and versatility, the new tire is engineered to provide dependable performance in all types of environments with the objective of delivering improved productivity on the job site.
“The addition of the 14.00R24 tire rounds out the existing Firestone VersaBuilt All Traction offering and complements the total portfolio of radial off-the-road products with the durability you expect from the Firestone brand,” says Tim Netzel, Director of Marketing, Off the-Road (OTR), Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO).
Bridgestone has engineered its Firestone VersaBuilt AT line to deliver improved traction with increased tire life. Available in different sizes, all tires come with a heavy-duty all-steel casing and a SideArmor sidewall that deflects stones and debris to help protect against cuts and punctures. The tire also features a self-cleaning tread pattern which enables it to have more traction in soft and muddy surfaces.
The Firestone VersaBuilt AT tire line has the following additional key features:
- Its non-directional pattern helps in promoting even wear over time.
- A tough, proprietary compound is provided for long wear life and cut-resistance.
- To provide additional traction, it features an open-shoulder design.
At the ConExpo in 2017, Bridgestone first introduced the Firestone VersaBuilt tire line. This is the first full line of OTR radial tires available in the Firestone brand. To meet the demands of different applications and varied operating environments, this tire line features all traction, all purpose and deep tread patterns.
