Tire retailers prepare for the winter tire season.

Atlas Tire’s latest instalment of Atlas Tire University was sold out, with a capacity crowd turning out to learn about the latest winter tire technologies.

The many tire retailers in attendance learned about the latest products on the trade show floor, which was staffed by representatives from all the major tire manufacturers.

The program included a “classroom” presentation by Dino Hatz, Business Development Manager with Hunter Engineering Company. Hatz talked about some of the common challenges faced by tire retailers today, explaining how the auto industry is changing, how vehicle technologies are advancing, and how tire retailers can prepare today to face the future.

Guests of Atlas Tire enjoyed a hot lunch, and many walked away with prizes, which were donated by the tire manufacturers, and raffled off during the trade show.
