On August 24, Vast-Auto Distribution Ontario, a division of Groupe Del Vasto, held its Annual Golf Tournament.

Over 120 participants had a great time and were thrilled for the return of this exciting event to raise money for a good cause, the AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation.

At Nobleton Lakes Golf Club, Nobleton, Ontario, Vast-Auto customers, suppliers, and staff were able to practice their swing on the course with colleagues and partners. The day ended with an equally festive evening where the tournament champions received their awards.

Additionally, Raymond Proulx, Chairman of the AIA Foundation, gave a speech highlighting the longstanding partnership between Vast-Auto Distribution and the Foundation.

Vast-Auto Distribution donated the profits from the tournament to the AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation, whose mission is to “inspire and engage the members of automotive aftermarket in Canada to bring positive change and improve the quality of life for children and youth in their local communities.”

Vast-Auto Distribution has been supporting this mission for the past ten years. When all was said and done, Mauro Cifelli, President and CEO of Groupe Del Vasto, presented Raymond Proulx, Chairman of the Foundation, with a cheque amounting to $5,000.

As the famous saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Vast-Auto Distribution would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in the tournament and, above all, for their generosity.
