The Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario (AARO) has announced details of its 2019 Symposium and Trade Show.

Taking place on January 19 at the Holiday Inn Oakville Centre, 590 Argus Road, Oakville, Ont. the event features a full lineup of highly anticipated guest speakers and relevant topics.

This year’s lineup includes:

• Donny Seyfer – Executive Officer at National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF). Seyfer will discuss details of the new AARO/NASTF Automotive Task Force and vehicle security. Joining Seyfer in the task force discussion is John Cochrane, President of Cochrane Automotive and founder of Lindertech North training seminars, plus Mark Lemay, President of Auto Aide Technical Services.
• Craig Van Batenburg – CEO at AC/DC Hybrid EV Training Resources. Van Batenburg will discuss diagnosis for hybrids and electric vehicles at every shop, details of what maintenance needs these types of vehicles require when they are driven in the real world (Van Batenburg has a fleet of about 14 different hybrid and electric vehicles dating back as far as 2001 at his training centre in Massachusetts). Van Batenburg will also have a couple of electric vehicles on display for hands-on discussion and demonstration purposes.

The event will also feature an on-site trade show with vendors representing the full spectrum of the automotive aftermarket.
