The February 2018 issue of CarCare Business is now available online. You can flip through it here, but first, a few words from the Associate Publisher of CarCare Business, Shirley Brown.
2018—Time to Forge Ahead!
I would like to wish all of you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year! I hope it turns out to be a good one!
May this be the year your business turns around and has you flying forward to greet the future and all it holds in store.
CarCare Business is going to do just that—meet the challenges of the future head on just like you. We have much in store for this year… lots of new items to be discussed, lots of tech tips to be discovered, new subjects for review and new writers.
We reached out and found one person whom most of you in the industry know, and his column starts in this issue. Robert Pitt has many years of experience behind him in the Aftermarket. He has worked both in the Canadian and U.S. markets primarily for two major corporations. Currently, he is semi-retired and would like to tell you what he has observed over the years and pass along some of his experience regarding communication, adapting to change, expectations and leadership. In other words, Robert is “giving back” to the people of the industry that has been good to him.
Wisdom, observation, experience
Robert will be passing along words of wisdom and observation that comes from his experience with people, with product, with situations, with challenges. He realizes that there is enormous opportunity for young people in this vast industry, and he would like to help them get ahead and make their mark. Read his column and his advice. You will quite likely see something you can use!
We at CarCare Business know the future is very challenging and only those of you who are willing and able to make changes will forge ahead and meet those challenges. This is what you need to do to keep your business alive and functioning well. You need to take the bull by the horns and get into the new way of doing business. The old way is broken and doesn’t work well any more. So get your mind from “old” to “new”. As someone said in an email to me, “New Year, New Chapter, New Journey, New Opportunities, New Adventures!”
Go for it!
