GEM-CAR and AutoServe1 have announced a new partnership, one that sees GEM-CAR SMS supporting AutoServe1 Digital Inspection software under the name GEM-CHECK.
GEM-CHECK and GEM-CAR will be integrated to provide the easy flow of information to GEM-CHECK tablet-based format, delivering significant value to tire and auto service dealers.
Visitors to the 2017 SEMA Show will be able to see a live demo of this integration at the GEM CAR booth (# 32239).
GEM-CHECK allows technicians to perform a full vehicle inspection using a tablet or smart phone instead of paper while recording the process with pictures, videos and voice to text notes. Service Advisors can then send the results immediately to customers via their smartphones.
Digital inspections with photos and videos build trust between customers and GEM-CAR retail shops. Service Advisors also have an easier time selling work when customers can view what technicians actually see.
Repair shops using GEM-CAR and GEM-CHECK have already seen an increase in their average repair orders from 15 percent to over 30 percent. This can translate into sales increases of as much as $20,000 per month or more.
“GEM-CAR and GEM-CHECK integration will offer even more features that are easy to use and will assist GEM-CAR users to improve customer satisfaction while increasing sales,” said Bob Worts, Vice President, Sales and Business development for GEM-CAR.
“We selectively work with partners whose services complement our already comprehensive point of sale software, so we have high confidence in what GEM-CHECK will provide to our customers.”
According to Gerry Bleau, CEO of AutoServe1, “this integration with GEM-CAR brings the power of the number one ranked digital inspection system with pictures and videos plus our new workflow system to the benefit of all current GEM-CAR customers or those considering using GEM-CAR in the future. This is a proven customer satisfaction and confidence booster that drives sales higher within 60 days.”
Customers utilizing the GEM-CHECK electronic inspection formats have seen their customer satisfaction index steadily increasing due to the thoroughness of the inspections. Customers are able to understand how the different areas of the vehicle operation work using pictures, videos and moving diagrams.
