The prestigious Legendary Motor Car Company in Halton Hills welcomed the Uni-Select Canadian Supplier Award event on October 13^th.

More than 80 suppliers were in attendance along with Uni-Select representatives from across the country. Uni-Select wished to show suppliers that the Corporation really appreciated the hard work they provide to Uni-Select.

They are a fundamental component of our Corporation’s success and this is why it is important to us to acknowledge their great work and recognize them every year with the Supplier Awards in Canada,” stated Miguel Angers, Vice President Product, Procurement & Network Connectivity.

And the winners are….

Winning the Diamond Award—the most esteemed award—was Mann+Hummel Filtration Technology Canada for their detailed-oriented and dependable service.

The Golden Ally award went to Mevotech in the ‘Sales Tools for Independent Jobbers and Installers’ category. The Golden Ally’s ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ category award went to Tenneco. And the third category, ‘Technical and Training Support’ was awarded to Blue Streak-Hygrade Motor Products.

The Tech-Savvy Award—New Technology was also awarded to Blue Streak-Hygrade Motor Products. The Achiever Award recognizes sales growth and three suppliers were recognized for this award—Total Canada; Akzo Nobel Coatings and DV Systems.

Gary O’Connor, Uni-Select’s President & COO, Canadian Automotive Group summarized the year’s Uni-Select highlights; Linda Donnini, VP National Business Solutions spoke about national business solutions and Pascal Leduc, Director Procurement was in charge of awards.

Jeff Deveaux, NGK Spark Plugs Canada, won the grand prize draw for a night at Bell Centre, sitting in the Uni-Select loge to see the Habs play Florida on November 15^th.

It was a wonderful evening in a venue full of beautiful cars from over the ages and a very appropriate setting for the Uni-Select aftermarket event.
