CARSTAR Canada is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, and will honour the many achievements of its Canadian CARSTAR franchise network in style while setting the stage for the next 30 years of success at the 2024 CARSTAR Conference: Velocity!

The 2024 CARSTAR Conference: Velocity will be held July 9 through 11, 2024, in breathtaking Victoria, B.C., the chosen waterfront backdrop for the celebration. Victoria’s unique character comes from its 150-year history and its British colonial heritage, which is very evident today. Renowned for its stunning views, energetic vibe and deeply rooted history, the island provides a fitting setting for the CARSTAR milestone conference. The event will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre, which stands as a symbol of culture and traditions in the heart of the city.

Throughout the conference, we will learn, grow and strengthen our bonds to better support our network and drive forward.”

Education plus

The 2024 CARSTAR Canada Conference will feature an agenda filled with three days of education, thoughtful discussions, and networking opportunities. Most importantly, the CARSTAR Canada team will celebrate all the achievements from 2023 for the franchise partners.

Together, we will continue to push our velocity of growth, unlocking new opportunities, new areas for profitability, and new records to break.”

The conference will kick off on Tuesday with the Harbour Hustle, a charity walk along the beautiful Victoria Harbour to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Canada, with proceeds benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Canada. CARSTAR Canada has been supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada for over 25 years after the granddaughter of a franchise partner was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. From there, the relationship blossomed as owners, industry partners, and communities across the country came together to raise over $5 million for cystic fibrosis research, care and advocacy.

After the walk, attendees will join the CARSTAR team, vendor partners and industry leaders for the opening ceremonies featuring a welcome message from the leadership team, a recognition ceremony for their years of service, followed by the opening night festivities featuring a spectacular birthday bash for CARSTAR Canada’s 30th year.

General session

On Wednesday, the general sessions featuring the CARSTAR leadership team will be followed by a presentation from dynamic keynote speaker, Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan, who will share her philosophy of strategic performance excellence to achieve the fullest potential in business and life. The afternoon will include a variety of breakout sessions set to provide in-depth information on initiatives and opportunities for CARSTAR Canada franchise partners in the year ahead.

The closing day will feature more general and breakout sessions, with the popular vendor tradeshow in the afternoon. CARSTAR will host the glamorous 2024 Awards Gala that evening, complete with a 90s theme to honour the year of CARSTAR’s founding.

CARSTAR Canada has a long and established history in the Canadian repair industry, tracing back for three decades. In 1994, CARSTAR began franchising in Canada with the vision of building a nationwide network of high-quality auto body repair centres aimed at providing consistent service and integrity across all locations. CARSTAR has since evolved and developed a nationwide network of high-quality collision repair centres. CARSTAR Canada selected Victoria as the home for its 30th anniversary celebration because it has a strong presence and history in the region. CARSTAR sponsors the Victoria Highlanders CFL team there and the 2024 Grey Cup which is being hosted in Vancouver this fall.
