From feast to good fortune! Preceding the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History on Sunday, May 28, CARSTAR Kenora, a locally adored collision repair facility, hosted a customer appreciation barbecue on Friday, May 26.
CARSTAR Kenora channelled their gratitude into action and raised $3,298 thanks to the coordinated effort of the team and the support of their loyal customers. The unwavering commitment to supporting advocacy, care and research for cystic fibrosis families is a shining beacon of community engagement and a key pillar of CARSTAR’s identity.
“I truly value the employees who helped make this event happen and the loyal customers and community members who showed up and showed out,” said Peter Scheibler, Owner of CARSTAR Kenora. “I’ve been in the industry for nearly thirty years and fully believe in the CARSTAR promise of supporting the communities that we live and work in. I couldn’t be prouder to do exactly that for our customers!”
Together, with the cumulative efforts of other CARSTAR facilities and their respective communities, the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History not only met but exceeded its goal of $40,000 to raise a final total of over $48,000.
CARSTAR Kenora has a history of impacting its local community. In 2020, Peter Scheibler, owner of CARSTAR Kenora, was honoured with the Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce (KDCC) Entrepreneur of the Year award.
