On October 12-13, Fix Automotive Network (FAN) hosted its Alberta/Saskatchewan Regional Meeting at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary, Alta.

Recognized as one of the fastest growing regions in within the FAN network, Alberta/Saskatchewan has witnessed a more than 30 percent increase in new shops during 2018 alone.

“I am so impressed with what has been built here in the region and am very excited to be part of the continued growth of all three of our brands,” said Chris Peterson, recently appointed General Manager of Fix Automotive Network Alberta & Saskatchewan.

Franchise strategic partners from all three brands within the network—Fix Auto, Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass were joined by FAN corporate staff, along with insurance and fleet partners and valued suppliers.

The meeting consisted of informative presentations, collaborative discussions, networking events, plus a supplier tradeshow.

“Our annual regional meeting is a great opportunity for all stakeholders to come together to share best practices, learn about new products and services from our partners and gain valuable insight into the future of FAN,” noted Peterson.

Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Automotive Network World joined the team in Calgary to deliver a national and global update. “As our network continues to grow across the country and around the world, our regional meetings are important to highlight the tremendous work being done by our shop owners and their staff each and every day,” said Leal.

“They are our brand ambassadors and the dedicated FAN corporate staff are here to ensure they have the support and tools they need to continue to deliver expert repairs with a focus on the customer.” Business updates from Sales, Marketing and Operations highlighted the work currently being done and plans for 2019 and beyond.

“It is important for our partners to understand how we are supporting their businesses now and also what is coming up regarding our operations and management platforms, marketing initiatives, key stakeholder relationships and new, innovative service offerings for our customers,” added Leal.

As part of the regional meetings being held across the country, FAN is also recognizing those shops have reached significant milestones for years of service to their communities. At this year’s regional Alberta/Saskatchewan meeting, FAN awarded the 10 year Milestone Award to Speedy Auto Service Edmonton Millwoods owner Biju Abraham. “Biju is a dedicated Speedy shop owner that we are so proud to have as a partner in our network,” said Peterson.
