On November 16, Pfaff Autoworks hosted its 2016 Open House event at its facility in Vaughan, Ont.
The evening brought members of the collision repair industry from across the Greater Toronto Area to witness the latest repair techniques, network and see products on display from the shop’s vendor partners BASF and 3M.
A special guest, was Mike Anderson of Collision Advice who came up from the U.S. Anderson delivered a hard hitting keynote address, discussing the current state and direction of the collision repair industry, and what we can expect to see coming from OEMs in the future.
Special repair techniques included replacing a front clip on the current Porsche 911, demonstrated by Pfaff Autoworks certified technician Rob Gargaro, while Shop Foreman Perry Mason demonstrated how to reset a vehicle a lane departure warning system—an important consideration in view of the need for shops to pre and post-scan vehicles during the repair process.
