At the Sherwin-Williams booth for the 2017 SEMA Show, visitors were treated to the appearance of two spectacular classic cars, along with company’s category defining CC200 Dynamic Clearcoat. CC200 is designed to deliver premium quality under virtually any conditions with a fast application time and low temperature, quick baking cycle.

The two cars on display were a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner built by Bair Customers and called “Raging Bird,” plus a spectacular 1960 Chevrolet Impala completed by Mann Restorations.

Raging Bird was built in the pro-touring style with modern suspension, tires and big brakes plus a fuel injected 426 Hemi under the hood, while the Impala was an original 348 c.i. Tri-Power car that is still owned by the same person that bought it new in 1960.

Once thought too far gone to restore, the Impala was brought back to life and now features its original 348 c.i. engine, rebuilt and sporting a modern EFI system; a GM 4L65E four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, new Roadster Shop chassis, Strange 9-inch rear end, Wilwood disc brakes and custom Billet Specialties wheels—all designed to enhance the car’s original character will delivering modern levels of comfort, reliability and performance.
