MAHLE Group had a range of products on display from its Aftermarket division at the 2021 AAPEX Show in Las Vegas.
Director of Marketing, Ted Hughes, pointed out the company’s new line of cabin air filters, which received an Import Vehicle Community award for Best Overall Product at the event, plus the company’s popular ArcticPRO ACX 2180 and ACX 2280 air conditioning servicing units available through MAHLE’s Service Solutions business.
Designed for servicing R134a (2180) 1234yf systems (2280), these machines were designed from the outset, for ease of use.
Key features include state-of-the-art ergonomics, with touch screen user interfaces, wireless software updates, as well as remote diagnostics, support allowing MAHLE technical staff to connect with the technician in the service bay.
Data management and metrics also allow the monitoring of service needs, refrigerant use and warranty reporting, plus these units are designed for ease of maintenance by shop staff, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.
Hughes also provided us with a look at MAHLE’s line of thermal management system products, such as its line of e-compressors, which are gaining increasing importance especially given the current focus on hybrid and battery electric vehicles and their specific thermal requirements.
Additionally, we were able to sample MAHLE’s Advantage Plus line of gaskets which are available in more than 700 different part numbers, plus pistons, piston rings, bearings and internal engine parts, which continue to form a staple part of MAHLE’s product offerings and were what made the company a household name.
